What do the Status and Standing assigned to a user during validation mean? Meri Marcucci 04 October 2023 15:41 Updated Within 24 hours of registration, a member of our staff validates the user by assigning a Status and a Standing, and immediately afterwards the user receives an email summarising the business terms and conditions granted. Status The Status represents the type of user. During validation, each user can be associated with one of the following statuses: Designer, if the user is a retailer or a professional in the sector; this type of customer frequently buys Gibam products with the aim of reselling them. Advisor, if the user is a potential agent. Standing The Standing represents the level of the customer; there are three different levels of Standing, called wood, steel and titanium, and to each level correspond specific discounts and payment terms. As mentioned above, the Gibam Composit platform rewards order frequency, Fidelity Program, so the more a customer orders: the higher the level of Standing awarded; the more favourable the discount and payment terms. To know more about Status and Standing and how they affect a user's business terms and conditions you can refer to the dedicated section. Advancement and Downgrading The Standing condition is dynamic; the more a customer orders, the higher the Standing and the more favourable the discount and payment terms granted; in this case the user advances in Standing. Of course, the opposite can also occur. If a customer cannot maintain the minimum order level required to keep a certain Standing level then there is a downgrading. In this case, the user is downgraded in Standing.
